For the first time, in our country the
need of Medical faculty was felt. It was the reign of Mohammad Nadir
Shah so, for the first time medical faculty came into being in 1331
in Kabul. In other to, element all kinds of health problems and
provide professional doctors to afghan community. After the Kabul
Medical faculty , the foundation stone was laid in Jalalabad (Shisham
Bagh) during the reign of Mohammad Zahir Shah in Jalalabad by Doctor
Mohammad Yousef who was the prim minister of Afghanistan. At that
time, then it was inaugurated by the Education Minster Ali Ahmad

The faculty of Civil Law and Political Science
The faculty of law is also founded in 1993. Currently, more than
400 students are taught by 14 lecturers in four classes, however,
the number of new enrollment is constantly growing. The faculty
has introduced more than 500 graduates to the society; most of them
are successfully working all over Afghanistan

350 students are studying in this college. The college is a little

The facultyof agriculture is one of the largest faculties with 5
departments and 29 well qualified lecturers. It is founded in 1978
and currently, over 600 students are enrolled in the faculty. The
number of graduates per years reaches to 145 and thus, it is instrumental
in the process of rehabilitation of Afghanistan
